Angelica Estrada graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Biophysics. After volunteering in various research labs related to mental health, she plans on pursuing graduate studies in Biostatistics. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and Hula/Tahitian dancing.
Sophie Haddad is a first-year philosophy major at the University of California, San Diego. She plans to go on to tackle social justice issues by either entering politics or working for a non-profit after college. She plays jazz saxophone and is minoring in music.
Maria Tran is a Public Health B.S. student at the University of California, San Diego, who is expected to graduate June 2017. When she graduates, she plans to work on environmental health issues. She loves research because she likes to seek out the beauty of nature on different scales. In her spare time she likes to dance (contemporary style).
